Instead of Deming, we’re heading to Alamogordo, NM, and later continuing toward Oklahoma City and up toward Illinois. 6 6  It turned out that even though the forecast said we should see 40 mph gusts coming into Las Cruces, we didn't really see any of that.  There was a lot of rain and some wind, but it really wasn't bad at all.
