Today, we got up a little early and actually got out early again.  This is beginning to become a habit.  We'll have to keep a watch on that!

Driving all of the way from the west border of Mississippi (right next to the river), through all of the state, and into Alabama, to Cropwell, just east of BIrmingham.  Once again, a fairly uneventful trip and once again the same endless forest on both sides of the freeway.  It was this way across the entire state.

When we arrived at our campsite (Lakeside Landing RV Park)

we used an app to find where the full moon would be rising over the lake.  We then positioned ourselves to take advantage of the view!  (A nice family was fishing off the end of the neighboring pier.  Their family dog was upset that he couldn't be with them and softly whined the whole time.  It wasn't that bothersome, however.  Kelly went to try to comfort the dog but he just wanted to be with his people.)

Tomorrow, we exit Alabama, breeze through Atlanta, and end up at another lake (a "Corps of Engineers" lake) just north-west of Augusta.

(Pictures coming soon.)
