Here's some random pictures around Charleston.
The state bird of both North and South Carolina, is the Cardinal:

The way the local Charlestonians say it, "the Ashley river and the Cooper river come together at Charleston and create the Atlantic Ocean":

Here's the large, modern, "Arthur Ravenel, Jr Bridge" across the Cooper River, going from Charleston to Mt Pleasant.

They have lizards there! This one was at my Dad's back door.
