10 -The trip was rather uneventful.  When we got to the rock hounding site, there was a sign clearly stating that a permit was required to be there and you should otherwise, "stay off!"  I guess too many people had read the same rock hounding book, so they posted a sign.  Kelly just collected a few rocks along the side of the road (which is legal due to "right of way") and we got back onto our planned route, arriving around sunset, which was quite beautiful from this site:
