10 10  On the last day of our stay at Indian Creek RV Park, one of the power adapters for our Macbooks ended up fried, brown and crispy on the outside!  Amazing it didn't start a fire!  (Looks as though maybe we were using too small of a wattage adapter and when an external drive was plugged in also, it was too much!  Oops!)  Looking online, we found that Apple's price was normally about $80, but Walmart in some places had them for $60.  We saw there was a large Walmart just outside of Jasper!  So, we stopped there on the way to the park!  (The price in the store was also $80, but when Richard talked to the Customer Service people, showing them the online price of $60 ["I could purchase it now using my phone and then pick it up in the store where I am now!"], they agreed to meet the $60 price.  Apparently, if Walmart is the actual seller of the item, they will meet the online price.  Something we just learned today!)

12 +As we got to the end of our journey, following the Google Maps GPS this time, we were directed to turn down what looked like a small county road.  We were dubious, to say the least.  When we finally drove by, slowly, we saw a dirt road.  Oh, no!  Not doing that again!  We kept driving until we could find a place to pull over and look up some more information.  (To quote "Mr Billy", at the New Orleans campground, "If you make a mistake the first time, well, maybe you're just ignorant.  There's nothing wrong with being ignorant, it just means you don't know.  You educate yourself on the matter and continue on.  But, if, after being educated, you do the same thing again?  Well, then you're just stupid!")  We're not stupid!

14 +Looking up the confirmation email for Sandy Creek, we found there were specific directions and they did, indeed, lead in via a different route.  Taking that route instead, involved no dirt roads, although it did involve a low lying section through a creek, but it was paved.

12 12  Finally, we arrived at Sandy Creek RV Park in Jasper, TX.  As we pulled in, the camp host walked up to meet us.  She came to the driver's side window and said, "I just saw you at Walmart!"  No, she wasn't stalking us.  She just noticed our trailer parked there and she says she remembers RV's.  It was a strange thing!

14 14  Having settled into our new site, we went for a walk, per usual, took some pictures and got bitten by lots of bugs, also per usual.  We watched a family from a neighboring site launching their boat and watched the sunset.
